Joining SPARX: A Story About Passion and People

To bring those stories to life, we love introducing the colleagues who embody our culture and values. We recently spoke with one of our teammates in France, who shared her journey in logistics, what inspired her to join SPARX, and how she sees the human side of our work.


Could you introduce yourself and tell us about your professional background?

I’ve been working in logistics and international transport for over 20 years, and during that time I’ve had the chance to experience both the operational and customer sides of the business. I began in ocean freight operations, first in exports and then in imports, before moving into client-facing roles where I’ve spent more than a decade supporting companies with their global supply chains. I also worked within the industrial and construction sectors, managing international transport flows by air and sea. These different perspectives have allowed me to understand the challenges clients face every day and to approach logistics not just as a process, but as a service that makes people’s jobs easier.


What attracted you to Sparx when you were recruited?

What drew me in was actually what I kept hearing from clients: that Sparx was reliable, attentive, and stood out for its professionalism. When I later spoke with the Managing Director, I immediately felt the passion for our work and a genuine way of communicating. That authenticity and human approach really resonated with me. It wasn’t about big promises, but about building trust and focusing on doing the job well, which is exactly how I like to work.


How do you perceive the company and its culture?

For me, Sparx feels very human. From the very first day, everyone — from management to colleagues — made sure I felt welcome, and that sense of teamwork is something you notice right away. The atmosphere is dynamic and people are flexible, but there’s also a lot of mutual respect. Everyone is invested in giving clients a fast, attentive, and careful service, and that creates a very positive energy both inside the company and in how we work with our partners.


What are your professional goals and how do you think SPARX can support you in achieving them?

My goal is simple: to keep learning and to help Sparx grow. Right now, the company is evolving and organizing itself in new ways, and that’s exciting because it allows us to become even more efficient and better at supporting our clients. For me, that means building long-lasting relationships, understanding the market as it changes, and always adapting so that our service really makes a difference for the people who rely on us.


What do you appreciate the most about your work and about the company?

What I enjoy the most is the trust and autonomy I’ve been given, as well as the spirit of teamwork that runs through everything we do. There’s always someone ready to help, to give advice, or simply to listen, and that makes a big difference in day-to-day work. I also appreciate how approachable management is — decisions are taken quickly, communication is open, and you really feel that everyone is pulling in the same direction. That creates a great atmosphere where it’s motivating to come to work and to connect with colleagues and clients alike.


What are your main challenges?

The challenge is to continue contributing to Sparx’s growth while staying open to new ways of working. Every client brings different needs, and each project teaches us something new. For me, that means constantly adapting, learning new methods, and keeping the curiosity alive to explore new flows and opportunities.


Her story is a reminder that logistics is more than moving goods from one place to another — it’s about trust, teamwork, and the passion people bring to their daily work.
